Who are you becoming?

Hi, Love!

The New Year always holds so much promise—a clean slate, a chance to step boldly toward your dreams, and an invitation to ask one powerful question:

Who are you becoming?

The version of you who's intentionally moving towards your dreams and goals doesn’t just show up by accident. She’s shaped through small, meaningful actions.

The kicker is that you're often so focused on the "To Do" list and what still needs to be done that you rarely acknowledge all of the things that you have done. The more you recognize and celebrate everything you do, the more your nervous system becomes comfortable with taking action and trusting your choices along the way.

This week, I want to share a powerful (yet extremely simple) exercise to help you strengthen your self-trust—one of the cornerstones of my Self-TECC framework.

Here's your tool: The "Ta Da" List

  1. Think Of Three Things You've Done Today (bonus points for writing them down)
Take five minutes to reflect on three things you followed through on today. It doesn't matter if they were big or small, routine or new. It doesn't matter if you think they matter or not! The only thing that matters is that you did them.
    • Maybe you replied to an email you’d been putting off.
    • You made your bed as soon as you woke up.
    • Or you stretched your body.
  2. Acknowledge Your Wins
Celebrate those moments as proof of your ability to trust yourself and follow through. Even if it's something you easily and regularly do each day, recognize and celebrate yourself for it. I promise you there are people out there who haven't or can't do even the "little" things you get done each day. You do so much that you don't give yourself enough credit for, so let's change that today.
  3. Repeat Tomorrow
The more you notice what you’re doing right, the more you’ll believe in your ability to keep showing up for yourself, and the more you'll see just how capable you are of becoming exactly who you want to be. It starts with the small wins, the small acknowledgments, and the small steps that create your larger path.

Trusting yourself is a skill—one that grows stronger every time you keep a promise to yourself, no matter how small. With each act of self-trust, you’re becoming the version of you who confidently takes on big dreams because she knows she’s got her own back!

So, tell me: Who are you becoming in 2025? Because that becoming starts today.

With Gratitude,

- Sabrina R. Avellán

P.S. You don’t have to navigate this next year of becoming on your own. I help my clients take the small steps that become their big dreams each and every day. I currently have space on my roster for another client. If 2025 is your year to become exactly who you want to be, book a call here.

Hi, Love! 🚨 🌶️ Here's a little spice warning. There are times when a message needs to be delivered with softness, and a time when it just needs to get laid out in plain white and black. And I'm 100% the person who will tell it to you straight (just ask my sisters and my 22 first cousins). So here it is... If you're overwhelmed with a to-do list as long as my grocery list for a family of four—you don’t have a time management problem. You have a you-management problem. But no one wants to say...

Hi, Love! I'm going to dive right in—hustle culture had its moment when influencers were out here screaming 📢 “boss babe” into their ring lights and startup founders were living on Red Bull and vibes ✌🏼. But we’ve seen where that road leads: straight to burnout, a midlife crisis, and, if you’re not careful, an ill-fitting Hawaiian shirt in Thailand (and not in the good way). 😮💨 For years, we’ve idolized the hustle → Grinding 24/7→ Measuring worth by output→ Chasing success like it’s a...

Is this way too relatable? From the outside, you look like a highly functioning adult. You’re managing responsibilities, showing up for everyone, and checking things off your list like a boss. But behind the scenes? It’s more like a chaotic game of Whac-A-Mole. You put out one fire, and three more pop up. That’s exactly where my client was before we started working together. Everything looked like it was working, but she could barely keep her head above water. And even though she was running...
