Feeling Stuck? Two Questions to Transform Your Week

Hi, Love!

Being more productive while feeling less overwhelmed isn’t about finding the perfect planner or mastering a time-blocking strategy. The secret lies in understanding yourself and how you work best.

This is why so much of my framework focuses on “self”—self-care, self-compassion, self-esteem. At the core of every goal you set is YOURself.

This week, my clients were tackling a lot of overwhelm.

There is a hurried energy going around and it must have something to do with taking time off during the holiday, paired with the motivation of a New Year and topped off with the desire to hibernate while also making progress on goals.

It's a LOT.

So here's the advice I gave them...

Prepare Yourself for Productivity

Feeling accomplished without feeling overwhelmed starts with creating a schedule that truly works for yourself.

One of the simplest ways to do this is by reflecting on your previous week and asking yourself these two questions:

✨ What worked?
What activities, strategies, or habits helped you feel productive and aligned?

🤔 Did you wake up early or go to bed at a certain time?
🤔 Did you meal prep or workout before sitting at your computer?
🤔 Did you work from a coffee shop or co-work with a friend?

✨ What didn’t work?
What drained your energy, distracted you, or left you feeling stuck or anxious?

🤔 Did you go to sleep late?
🤔 Did you overthink a problem that was never actually a problem?
🤔 Did you scroll waaaay too much on Instagram because you were avoiding a massive to-do list?

When you identify what worked, you know what to do more of.
When you recognize what didn’t work, you understand what to avoid or improve.

This simple practice helps you stop repeating patterns of self-sabotage.

A Weekly Practice for Peaceful Productivity

By reflecting on these two questions every week, you’ll:

  • Learn more about yourself and how you operate.
  • Create a schedule that’s efficient, productive, and dependable.
  • Build a foundation for peaceful productivity that feels sustainable.

I call this "stacking" because you learn more and more each week.

If you want to accomplish more, the key is to first understand yourself. It’s not about planners or hacks—it’s about developing a deeper relationship with who you are and how you thrive.

Hi, Love! 🚨 🌶️ Here's a little spice warning. There are times when a message needs to be delivered with softness, and a time when it just needs to get laid out in plain white and black. And I'm 100% the person who will tell it to you straight (just ask my sisters and my 22 first cousins). So here it is... If you're overwhelmed with a to-do list as long as my grocery list for a family of four—you don’t have a time management problem. You have a you-management problem. But no one wants to say...

Hi, Love! I'm going to dive right in—hustle culture had its moment when influencers were out here screaming 📢 “boss babe” into their ring lights and startup founders were living on Red Bull and vibes ✌🏼. But we’ve seen where that road leads: straight to burnout, a midlife crisis, and, if you’re not careful, an ill-fitting Hawaiian shirt in Thailand (and not in the good way). 😮💨 For years, we’ve idolized the hustle → Grinding 24/7→ Measuring worth by output→ Chasing success like it’s a...

Is this way too relatable? From the outside, you look like a highly functioning adult. You’re managing responsibilities, showing up for everyone, and checking things off your list like a boss. But behind the scenes? It’s more like a chaotic game of Whac-A-Mole. You put out one fire, and three more pop up. That’s exactly where my client was before we started working together. Everything looked like it was working, but she could barely keep her head above water. And even though she was running...
