Do you need to become a morning person?

Hi, Love!

Brace yourself—I’m about to say something that might ruffle some feathers…

Waking up early does not make you more productive. It won’t turn you into a millionaire. It won’t magically fix your procrastination problem. And it definitely won’t guarantee success.

I know, I know. Every high-performing entrepreneur and “hustle culture” influencer loves to flex their flawless 5 AM morning routine:

💪 Gym session
📝 Journaling
🌅 Sunlight exposure
🛀 Cold plunge
🙏 Meditation & prayer

And sure, that all sounds great. But here’s the truth they don’t tell you…

They don’t wake up early to be productive.
They wake up early because they already know exactly what they need to do and why.

It’s not the 5 AM wake-up call that makes them successful. It’s their clarity, vision, and systems.

Let’s be real—how many times have you forced yourself to wake up early, only to:
➡️ Hit snooze three times?
➡️ Sit in bed scrolling TikTok & Instagram?
➡️ Drink coffee just to feel human and then spend an hour “getting ready” to be productive?

Yeah. Same.

And that’s because waking up early for the sake of waking up early is useless.

If you don’t have a plan—if you don’t know exactly how you work best—those extra morning hours won’t magically make you more effective.

So instead of forcing yourself into the 5 or 6 or even 7 AM club, try this:

✅ Get brutally honest about what makes you actually productive.
✅ Map out exactly what your day, week, and month need to look like.
✅ Set a schedule that works for you, not just one that looks good on Instagram.

When you do that, waking up earlier becomes a natural result—not a struggle.

So if you’ve been beating yourself up for not being a morning person, consider this your permission slip to stop.

The goal isn’t to be an early riser. The goal is to be effective.

I have a client who wakes up at 9 AM and she runs a $1 MIL company.

I have a client who wakes up at 6:30 AM as a musician/actress/writer.

Their income levels have nothing to do with their alarm settings.

One needs as many hours in the day as possible to manage her acting career, writing goals, and the launch of her EP. The other is a night owl who only needs the sun's time to meet with her teams and complete bigger vision tasks.

Now, tell me—are you an unapologetic night owl 🦉 or an early bird 🐦?

Hit reply and let me know!

Your used-to-be night owl turned morning momma coach,

Hi, Love! 🚨 🌶️ Here's a little spice warning. There are times when a message needs to be delivered with softness, and a time when it just needs to get laid out in plain white and black. And I'm 100% the person who will tell it to you straight (just ask my sisters and my 22 first cousins). So here it is... If you're overwhelmed with a to-do list as long as my grocery list for a family of four—you don’t have a time management problem. You have a you-management problem. But no one wants to say...

Hi, Love! I'm going to dive right in—hustle culture had its moment when influencers were out here screaming 📢 “boss babe” into their ring lights and startup founders were living on Red Bull and vibes ✌🏼. But we’ve seen where that road leads: straight to burnout, a midlife crisis, and, if you’re not careful, an ill-fitting Hawaiian shirt in Thailand (and not in the good way). 😮💨 For years, we’ve idolized the hustle → Grinding 24/7→ Measuring worth by output→ Chasing success like it’s a...

Is this way too relatable? From the outside, you look like a highly functioning adult. You’re managing responsibilities, showing up for everyone, and checking things off your list like a boss. But behind the scenes? It’s more like a chaotic game of Whac-A-Mole. You put out one fire, and three more pop up. That’s exactly where my client was before we started working together. Everything looked like it was working, but she could barely keep her head above water. And even though she was running...
